Let that Freak Flag Fly!
Get some exercise, meet some fellow local ladies, stomp out some stress, wiggle out some worries.
Wave your arms in the air like you just don't care.
No steps or dance moves to learn; no choreography to keep up with.
No judgement, no rules - except be yourself & have fun.
Move at your own pace; take up your own space.
Exercise shouldn't feel like a chore. We're all about just moving our bodies & sharing some positive energy, smiles, & vibes.
We start at 7pm. But no one is late to the party - just jump on in when you're able to.
We dance for about an hour, and at 8pm conclude with a gratitude circle. Share your name & something you're grateful for.
Located at Legacy of the Rose - Center for Healing and Enlightenment
29 Byers St, 2nd Floor, Staunton, VA 24401
Parking in Wharf Lot or on Middlebrook Ave, entrances located on both streets.
Wear comfy shoes, or no shoes at all, however you choose to groove.
Dance floor is wooden.
We all need more movement, more positivity, more silliness, more smiles, more community.
Let's raise the vibration together - one lone dancer at a time!
Music ranges from 60s through today - Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Grunge, Disco, Funk, Dance Hits, One Hit Wonders.

Curious about our Ladies' Dance Party, but haven't joined us yet?
Here's a bit of what to expect...
Come as you are - all ladies are welcome.
AFAB, female-identifying, non-binary, & everyone in between.
When Shania says, "Let's go, girls" - do you go? Then c'mon, what are you waiting for?
We start dancing at 7pm. If you're running late - no worries.
Jump on in when you arrive.
If you want to line dance - do it.
You've got 90s fly girl moves - bust it.
Crazy hippie or Elaine Benes grooves - let it fly.
If you want to ribbon dance or hula hoop - bring it (just be mindful of fellow dancers).
If you just want to march in place or gently sway back & forth - this time is for you to move your body in whatever ways feel good to you.
Judgement free zone.
The only rules are to be yourself & have fun.
We finish at 8pm with a Gratitude circle.
Share your name & something you're grateful for, something you're looking forward to, something that makes you happy, anything positive that's lighting up your life lately.
And we all leave with warm & fuzzy insides, smiles on our faces, maybe a bit of boob sweat, & love in our hearts.
If you hate it, leave early. If you kind of love it, bring friends next time ![]()
And if you're still reading this - I'm grateful for you & hope to boogie with you soon ![]()
