Self-Assessment

Do any of these sound familiar….?

  • Not being able to stop after 1 or 2
  • Drinking more than intended despite promising yourself (or others) you wouldn't frustrated-life.jpg
  • Drinking by yourself
  • Blacking out on occasion
  • Anxiety & fear about drinking more than you’d like to at an upcoming event
  • Asking Google things like:
    • "do I drink too much?"
    • "how much alcohol is too much?"
    • "am I an alcoholic?"
    • "what is an alcoholic?"
  • Feeling embarrassed or ashamed (bit of both) about things you did while drinking
  • Deciding to quit drinking in the morning, only to pour yourself a drink by 5pm that night
  • Not knowing how to deal with a stressful day at work, celebrations, bad news, good news, or anything in between without a drink
  • Feeling like life is kind of underwhelming & not really knowing why
  • Promising yourself you’ll just have this one glass of wine or one beer, only to finish the whole bottle/6-pack/12-pack
  • Hangovers that last days, or rarely having a stereotypical hangover but feeling an overall fog about yourself
  • Feeling immense guilt, self-disappointment, even self-disgust about alcohol
  • Talking about all kinds of things you want to do, but never actually doing them
  • Feeling unmotivated & a lack of energy without knowing why
  • Trying to only drink on weekends, and finding that makes the week feel slothly slow
  • The thought of quitting drinking feels like an impossible task & incredibly boring, and something only people with 'big' problems need to do
  • You feel bad/sorry for people who've quit drinking - but also maybe a little jealous

I've been there. I understand. And I'm here to tell you - you don't have to feel that way anymore.

If you're interested in knowing more - there's a self-assessment below. See where you land. Then contact me for more information on the results, & what we can do about it.
